Until then how about we take a look at the people doing their utmost to keep this quarantine a stylish one?
Fashion has a great talent for adjusting to the time and society in which it exists. The culture of punk rose from a discontent with the conservative British society of the early-mid 70s, new minimalism that for many seasons filled the street style blogs are said to stem from the 2008s financial crisis as a counterreaction to the previous overconsumption.
And the lowrise jeans from the 00s came as a reaction to…. I don’t know: wanting your love handles to breathe freely? Probably. Who knows.
And now we find ourselves living in what will be a historical time that our grandkids will read about in their school books. Or floating hologram reading devices. And maybe some of them will be interested in fashion (go get yourself a real hobby, Susanna) and maybe they will look back at the time after the virus and see how this shift in society and overall understanding of ourselves and the world, affected the following seasons of culture and fashion.
Until then how about we take a look at the people doing their utmost to keep this quarantine a stylish one? Who said that you can’t stay home and break the chain while looking your best? Absolutely no one. And these ladies are here to prove it!
Did we forget someone on the lists? Please send us your inspiration for the most stylish #stayingthefuckhome looks.
